Description
The “Peall” Record Cue Break 3304 Hand Spliced 1pc Ash Cue with Plain Ebony Butt.
This Cue still has the “Original Specifications” when it was made, And also has the Original Tip and Wafer Tip Pad still on the Cue! Very Rare Collectable Antique Cue.
It is very rare to get a original which hasn’t been altered in anyway or even had a ferrule put on! The Cue as the images show has been used and has a lovely patina colour to the shaft which happens over a long period of time. And the cue still has the same specifications as it was when it was new.
The Peall Record Cue commemorates the break of 3,304 made by William J Peall in a match against Charles Dawson at the Royal Acquarium on 6th November 1890.
Peall Record Cue was made by Peradon & Co. during the period from 1890 through to the 1930s, And this Cue is an earlier example.
These are very rare to get with a Ash Shaft, Especially in untouched condition.
The Maple Cues are a lot more common but you don’t see many of these with Ash Shafts.
Approx Cue Specifications:
Length: 57″.
Tip Size: 11mm.
Weight: 15 oz stamped on the shaft.
Butt Size: 33mm
