Here we have Our Very Own Cymru Cues Cue Oil 50ml.

We have been working for many years to produce a high quality 100% Natural Cue Oil, And after many years we believe we have done this.

I am very OCD myself and what I have found in the past is all the cue oils i’ve used darken the shaft especially after using a few coats of the oil which I didn’t like! And some including linseed oil leaves the shaft very sticky!

Our 100% Natural Cue Oil doesn’t darken the shaft at all even after 6-10 coats are applied on Ash or Maple Shafts, And it doesn’t leave the cue sticky at all.

Application:

Please “Wear Gloves” before you start to apply our Cue Oil to avoid skin contact.

Before applying the Cue Oil make sure the cue is clean and free from any chalk or dirt. If the Cue does have some chalk near the ferrule you can use this Cue Oil to remove that first using a small clean rag or paper towel.

If you’re re-finishing the Cue and have taken it right back to bare wood, To get the best results you should then use sanding sealer and then grain filler if needed then sand and smooth to approx 1200-2000 grit. If you haven’t taken back to bare wood you may not need to use sanding sealer or grain filler. 

1. Shake the Cue Oil well before using on a clean dry cotton rag or paper towel to apply the Cue Oil covering the whole Cue.
2. Leave the Cue Oil to soak for 10-20 minutes before wiping away any excess Cue Oil.
3. Allow to dry before buffing/polishing with a clean dry polishing cloth, cotton rag or soft towel.
4. Apply several fine coats which is far more effective than one single heavy application.

The drying times will vary depending on your working environment, The first coat may dry within a hour if the shaft is very dry.

You can apply as many coats as you like following steps 1-4 above til you get the finish and feel you prefer! YOU CAN’T OVER OIL THE SHAFT OR RUIN YOUR CUE DOING THIS! As when the shaft has had enough Cue Oil it will not soak in anymore then you know the shaft has had enough.

Our Cue Oil is 100% Natural and as mentioned above it doesn’t darken or colour your Ash or Maple shaft at all and dries naturally! Not like some other Cue Oils which use drying thinners, And some leaves the Cue sticky like linseed oil etc.

I have tried most Cue Oils over the past 40yrs as i’m also a Snooker/Pool Enthusiast and nothing gets close to ours! When ours dries it doesn’t leave the shaft or cue sticky at all.
