Cymru Cues Produced the First Ever Break Cue Tip Designed Specifically for English UK 8 Ball Pool!

We wanted to produce The Best Break Cue Tip Possible, That would suit Pool Players all around the World Including English UK 8 Ball Pool.

Originally we produced a 14mm & 12mm Break Tip which would fit most Break Cues around the World Including 9 Ball/Chinese 8 Ball/English UK 8 Ball etc. And both Break Tips had been put through rigorous testing and experimentation for many years, And yes we did alter them alot til we we’re 100% satisfied with the results.

We we’re then asked by majority of our UK clients for us to make a Smaller Break Tip for English UK 8Ball Pool, Which would also help our clients fit them alot easier to their Break Cues.

So we listened to our Clients and Produced the First Ever 11mm Diameter Break Cue Tip Designed Specifically for English UK 8 Ball Pool!

These 11mm Break Tips have also been Manufactured to Our Specification! And they have also been put through rigorous testing and experimentation like our previous original 14mm & 12mm tips for many years. We have altered them quite alot including the height/hardness etc til we we’re 100% satisfied with the results. 

These Break Tips will fit onto 11mm Break Cues without cutting the sides at all which will save alot of time, We have also reduced the height of them so will be much easier to fit and will just need the top shaped to your own preference.

Fitting Instructions for Our New Break Tips:

1. Please make sure the Top of your Cue/Ferrule has had ( ALL THE PREVIOUS GLUE REMOVED ) And is Clean/Dust Free and Perfectly Flat.

2. Now please check with straight edge or new stanley blade across the Top of the Ferrule/Cue at all angles that there is ( NO GAPS SHOWING ) underneath the straight edge or stanley blade.

3. Then Pickup Our Break Tip and on the ( CLEAR SIDE ) Score the Tip alittle with some Fine Sandpaper doing it in Circular Motion ( NOT BACK AND FORE ) This will make the Tip Stick Much Better to the Top of Cue/Ferrule!

4. You can Now Open your New Glue and we recommend using either one of these three glues ( INDUSTRIAL GRADE SUPER GLUE HV, LOCTITE 60 SECONDS ALL PURPOSE GLUE GEL EXTRA STRONG AND FLEXIBLE or LOCTITE SUPER GLUE GEL IN BLACK/GREY TUB  ) Always Use a New Tub/Tube as Glue goes off over time!

5.  Now Glue the ( CLEAR SIDE ) of the Tip you just Scored to the Top of the Cue/Ferrule.

6.  Then ( WAIT AT LEAST 2hr/4hrs ) We recommend leaving it overnight especially if your fitting by hand and not using a lathe!

7.  Now the Break Tip is Securely Glued On!… You can now ( TRIM THE EXCESS OFF THE SIDES OF THE CUE TIP IF NEEDED ) You can use a lathe if possible which will take seconds! If you haven’t a lathe then you will need a Very Good Knife with a New Sharp Blade and just start taking slithers off the very edge of the Break Tip and work your way in towards the ferrule as then it will cut alot easier! Please be Very Careful Using a Sharp Blade.

8. After your happy with the Sides of the Tip which has now been Trimmed Down, You can Now ( SHAPE THE TOP OF THE BREAK TIP ) which has Our Branded Logo On to what ever Shape and Size you Prefer using a lathe, file or starting with a course grit sand paper and making your way up the grades.
